Cloud Forest Adventure – Monteverde

We pick you up at your hotel at about 7:00 am, depending on your location, making a stop in Liberia to buy water and a picnic lunch if desired.

We’ll make our way up the infamous Monteverde road, stopping periodically to take in the amazing scenery. Once we arrive in Monteverde it will be up to you to decide how you want to experience the cloud forest.

Since the majority of wildlife is found in the upper reaches of the forest, one of the best ways to see it is by taking a breathtaking tree top tour over ziplines or suspended bridges:

Return to your hotel about 7:00 pm, depending on the selected activities.

Recommended Dress

Pants, hat and hiking or running shoes (sandals are not permitted on the bridges or zipline), warm jacket/clothing and rain gear, even in the dry season.

What to Bring

Camera, insect repellent, sunscreen, sunglasses, drinking water, snacks and picnic lunch (if desired) and cash for activities and restaurant lunch (if preferred instead of bringing a picnic lunch).

Schedule

Full-day tour – pick up approximately 7:00 am and drop off at about 7:00 pm.

Participation Requirements

Participation in the ziplines is limited to persons four years of age or older, those who weigh less than 115 kg (260 pounds) and do not have certain health problems or are not pregnant. Minors must be accompanied by a parent. There are no restrictions for other activities.
