Some eight years ago, Jose Mario Quesada (nicknamed “Offi” as a child because of his beloved “Huffy” bike), decided to give up his private loan business and follow his heart into the forest!

Born and raised in the Liberia area, Offi, a great fan of Rincon de la Vieja national park, began shuttling visitors back and forth from Liberia in his trusty Toyota Land Cruiser and offering personalized guiding services in English and French (having spent ten years in Canada).

Since then Offitours has expanded to offer guests a variety of tours in the Guanacaste area, but Offi and his Land Cruiser are still providing the same down-to-earth, personalized, affordable service!

Take nothing but pictures, leave nothing but footprints!

That’s our maxim and we live it on all our tours and services! We strictly follow national park policies and never feed or harass animals or collect wild plants or other natural objects. We carry out all garbage, even when it’s not our own!
