We pick you up at your hotel at about 7:00 am, depending on your location, making a stop in Liberia to buy water and a picnic lunch if desired.

We’ll make our way up the infamous Monteverde road, stopping periodically to take in the amazing scenery. Once we arrive in Monteverde it will be up to you to decide how you want to experience the cloud forest.

Since the majority of wildlife is found in the upper reaches of the forest, one of the best ways to see it is by taking a breathtaking tree top tour over ziplines or suspended bridges:

• Enjoy an exhilarating adventure as you fly through and over the forest canopy on Selvatura Park’s ziplines, one of the longest canopy tours in Costa Rica and the only one located inside the Monteverde cloud forest.
• Get a close-up view of the distinctive flora and fauna on a two-hour walk over bridges suspended up to 60 meters (180 feet) in the air!
• Then get an even closer view of the forest’s shyest residents during a relaxing, educational stroll through the butterfly or hummingbird gardens or the insect or reptile and amphibian exhibitions.
